Il Romanticismo del Conciliatore

Résumé

Riassunto: L’intervento intende chiarire il protagonismo del Conciliatore: foglio scientifico-letterario nel processo di definizione del nuovo movimento romantico diffusosi in Italia nei primi anni dell’Ottocento. Si fornisce, quindi, un elenco ragionato di articoli usciti nel periodico, in cui sono presentati i fondamenti e le principali caratteristiche del Romanticismo italiano, e in particolare milanese. Inoltre, si propone un saggio di edizione di un intervento emblematico, che dà conto degli accesi dibattiti teorici sul Romanticismo, scaturiti grazie alla riflessione che i conciliatori sviluppano nel giornale.

Abstract: The contribution aims to clarify the prominence of Il Conciliatore: foglio scientifico-letterario in the process of defining the new Romantic movement that spread in Italy in the early nineteenth century. It provides an annotated list of articles published in the periodical, in which the foundations and main characteristics of Italian, and particularly Milanese, Romanticism are presented. In addition, it offers an in-depth analysis of an emblematic article, giving an account of the heated theoretical debates on Romanticism, which arose thanks to the reflection developed by the contributors in the journal.
